TheInspireStore.com is a venture of Inspire, a great shop in the town of Bayfield, Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Superior. For over 6 years Inspire has been bringing an eclectic assortment of great gift items and art supplies to residents and visitors of this Northwoods town. We are proud of our shop and delight in hearing people tell us how much they like it.
Doug and Beth, the owners of Inspire, are always
looking for products that have
stories, tell stories and spark imagination and creativity. Our
selection of toys never require require batteries. When kids come in
they
can't help picking up a ball or puzzle or toy and just start playing.
Adults are drawn to the handmade jewelry from as far away as Africa or
as close as around the block. The colorful batik or cotton shirts from
Nepal, Ghana and USA satisfy many. A regular
following of artists, both hobbyist and professional stop by for
paint, brushes, charcoal and paper. And always there is great world
music playing to entertain all comers.
We offer exceptional customer service and have gone out of
our way many times to satisfy our customers. It shows in the
gratifying thanks we receive and the many return visitors to our shop.
Inspire offers a commitment to products that are beneficial for the
customer, and also the planet and the people who produce the
products. We buy from many vendors who live up to the standards of the
Fair Trade Federation, Forest Stewardship Council, Co-op America and
other certifying organizations. Our customers have values
that go beyond simply a good price.
